Apprentice

This is a great opportunity for a School Leaver in particular

We are seeking a confident, well presented person with good organisation skills and initiative.  The perfect candidate will be a confident communicator, a multi talker and able to cope well under pressure within a busy salon

Experience is not necessary as you will be given full training in house and working with a recognised external educator

This Government funded NVQ programme  lasts approximately two years and will teach you to:

Understand the science of hair

Ultimately cut and colour hair

Shampoo and condition clients' hair

Assist hair stylists

Book appointments on a computerised diary system

Meet and greet clients

Promote and sell services and retail products

You will develop valuable practical experience by working in a salon environment and being exposed to a high standard of professional hairdressing on a day to day basis.

Assistant Full/Part Time

We are seeking confident, well presented assistants with strong organisation skills and initiative. Previous experience is not necessary.  You could be an ex-hair stylist wanting to get back into the industry.  The perfect candidate will be a confident communicator, multi talker and able to cope well under pressure within a busy salon.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

• Shampoo and condition clients’ hair

• Help maintain salon appearance and cleanliness

• Meeting and greeting clients and answering the phone

• Assisting stylists

• Promoting and selling services and/or retail products

• Making appointments on the computerised diary system
